By using our website and services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, which form a binding agreement between you and StartCDL Driver School.
StartCDL Driver School offers comprehensive CDL training programs, including classroom instruction, behind-the-wheel training, and online courses. Specific services and programs may vary based on location and availability. In addition to behind-the-wheel and classroom training, StartCDL Driver School offers self-paced online courses, including ELDT Theory courses, ELDT endorsement courses, English-language courses, dispatcher training courses, driver safety courses, CDL test preparation courses, and other online educational programs. These courses are available upon purchase through our website.
Enrollment in our programs requires completion of an application and payment of the applicable fees. Fees must be paid in full prior to the start of the program unless a payment plan has been agreed upon. Refunds are subject to our cancellation policy as detailed below. Purchase of standalone online courses does not require an enrollment agreement unless otherwise stated. Fees for these courses must be paid in full at the time of purchase, after which immediate access to the course materials is granted.
Cancellations made more than 14 days before the course start date will receive a full refund minus a processing fee. Cancellations made within 14 days of the course start date are non-refundable. In the event of a course cancellation by StartCDL, a full refund will be issued.
Students are expected to conduct themselves professionally at all times. Any form of misconduct, including but not limited to cheating, disruptive behavior, or violation of safety protocols, may result in disciplinary action, including expulsion without a refund.
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else’s use of the website. You must not post or transmit any harmful, threatening, or otherwise objectionable material.
Your use of the website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our services, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.
All content on the website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of StartCDL or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use of any content may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws.
StartCDL will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the website or our services.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the website and services constitutes acceptance of such changes.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of New Jersey, and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New Jersey for the resolution of any disputes.
Upon successful payment, customers will receive immediate access to the purchased online course materials. This applies to all online courses offered by StartCDL Driver School, including ELDT Theory courses, ELDT endorsement courses, English-language courses, dispatcher training courses, driver safety courses, CDL test preparation courses, and any other current or future online courses offered through our website. The access remains valid for up to one (1) year from the date of purchase. The purchase receipt sent via email serves as proof of access.
Company shall provide Trainee with access to its platform upon Trainee making a payment of the Deposit and executing an Agreement with Company regarding Company’s Training Services. The Full Cost of the Training Services is due and payable within sixty (60) days of the Effective Date of Trainee’s Agreement with Company, or before the start of any Behind-the-Wheel (BTW) Range and Behind-the-Wheel (BTW) Public Road training as defined by the FMCSA curriculum summary (collectively the “BTW Training”)—whichever comes first.
Full Refund: Trainees are entitled to a full refund of all monies paid if they terminate their Agreement with Company in writing, within three (3) business days of the Effective Date of their Agreement, provided they have not accessed Company’s online course materials.
Partial Refund: If cancellation is requested after Company has provided a Trainee with login credentials for the online course, but within 14 days of Deposit payment, Trainee is eligible for a partial refund of fifty percent (50%) of the Deposit.
Non-Refundable Deposit: The Deposit becomes non-refundable, for any reason, fourteen (14) days from the Effective Date of Trainee’s Agreement with Company.
All sales of online courses offered by StartCDL Driver School are final. This policy applies to all online courses, including ELDT Theory courses, ELDT endorsement courses, English-language courses, dispatcher training courses, driver safety courses, CDL test preparation courses, and any other current or future online courses offered through the StartCDL platform. No refunds will be issued once access to the purchased course materials has been granted.
Refund Terms: If Trainee is dissatisfied with Company’s services or does not wish to proceed with Company’s BTW Training, Trainee shall be eligible to terminate the Agreement and obtain a partial refund of Fifty Percent (50%) of the Full Cost after a maximum of ONE (1) BTW Training session. If Trainee participates in more than one BTW Training session, the Full Cost of the Training Services becomes non-refundable.
Processing Fee: A non-refundable processing fee of $150 will be deducted from all refunds, including full and partial refunds, to cover administrative costs, payment gateway fees, and any course material costs incurred.
Request for Refunds: All refund requests must be submitted in writing to billing@startcdl.com.
Payment of Refunds: Approved refunds will be processed within 30 days of receiving the written request.
