1 Entry Level Driver Training Theory
This is the first step in your CDL journey. The online theory course covers all essential knowledge required by federal and state regulations. You'll learn about CDL-specific road rules, traffic signs, safety protocols, defensive driving, emergency handling, cargo basics, and trip planning. The course is self-paced and accessible 24/7 from any device, giving you the flexibility to study whenever it’s convenient.
2 Simulator Classes
Before stepping into a real truck, you’ll train on a state-of-the-art driving simulator. These sessions allow you to safely practice starting, stopping, shifting, turning, parking, and maneuvering in complex situations. The simulator reproduces various driving conditions — including rain, snow, traffic, and emergency scenarios — to help you gain confidence and muscle memory without real-world risks.
3 Air-Brake Test
This section of the training focuses on the air brake system — a critical component of commercial vehicles. You'll learn how the system works, how to identify leaks or mechanical issues, and how to perform a full step-by-step brake test. These skills are essential not just for passing the CDL exam, but for operating safely every day on the job.
4 Pre-Trip Inspection Self Study
In this module, you’ll learn how to properly inspect a commercial vehicle before every trip. We provide detailed guidance on checking the engine, tires, brakes, lights, suspension, and coupling systems. You’ll also learn how to document and report issues. Mastering this skill is mandatory for passing the CDL pre-trip inspection test and crucial for preventing accidents or violations.
5 Yard and City Driving
These sessions provide hands-on driving experience both in a controlled yard environment and on real city roads. In the yard, you’ll practice maneuvers like backing, parallel parking, and offset parking. In city driving, you’ll learn to navigate traffic, handle intersections, make safe turns, and follow road rules under real-world conditions.
6 Final Exam
This is the last step before you move on to behind-the-wheel training. The final exam evaluates your understanding of all key theoretical areas: road rules, air brakes, and vehicle inspection procedures. It’s designed to simulate real exam conditions and confirm that you're ready for the next phase of your CDL training with full confidence.
