What you will learn?

Entry Level Driver Training Theory (ELDT)

The online theory course, presents the material necessary according to both federal and state regulations. You will learn the road rules, traffic signals, and safety measures used in dealing with CDL cases along with defensive driving skills, emergency and cargo handling, and trip planning.

Driving simulator

You will be using a state-of-the-art driving simulator for your training before touching an actual truck. These lessons help you to practice safely for things such as starting, stopping, shifting, turning, parking, or maneuvering complicated situations.

Air-Brake Test

You’ll learn how the system works, how to identify leaks or mechanical issues, and how to perform a full step-by-step brake test

Pre-Trip Inspection (PTI)

We provide detailed guidance on checking the engine, tires, brakes, lights, suspension, and coupling systems

Yard and City Driving

The sessions offer hands-on driving experience in a controlled yard and on city roads. In the yard, you will be trained in maneuvers such as backing, parallel parking, and offset parking, while in city driving, one would learn to work with traffic, handle intersections, make safe turns, and follow the rules of the road under real-traffic conditions.

Final Exam

This is the last step before earning your Commercial Driver’s License Class A. The CDL road test includes a vehicle inspection, basic control maneuvers, and an on-road driving assessment. Passing this exam officially qualifies you as a licensed commercial driver.

Requirements for Students

Age Requirement

Applicants must be at least 21 years old to qualify for interstate CDL training.

Valid Driver’s License

Students must hold a valid, unrestricted driver’s license before enrollment.

Citizenship or Legal Residency

Applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents (green card holders), or hold an approved immigration status that qualifies them to obtain a CDL.

Medical and Drug Screening

All applicants must pass a DOT physical exam and drug test to ensure fitness for commercial driving.
