We are excited to share news that will impact all students at school: the new Student Account 2.0.
It features a new design and functionality and will be launched for all users on June 17 (Monday).
Here’s what to expect:
1. Redesigned Sections:
Calendar: Filters added, event cards color-coded by type and status. You can book any available event suitable for your program.
Instructor Page: Displays a list of all office staff assigned to you.
Profile: Stores all uploaded documents, contracts, payment history, and personal data (sent to DMV for exam registration).
Notifications: Receive key event notifications via email and notification center.
2. New Features:
Student Progress: Instructors and support staff can now track your learning progress in the dashboard. You can view your current and next steps towards earning a CDL.
Learning Management System: Theoretical programs are now accessible in the dashboard. You can complete them directly there:
Code of Conduct for Students: Familiarize yourself with our guidelines to ensure a productive and respectful learning environment.
Manual File: This comprehensive manual contains everything you need to prepare for your exam, including:
– Pre-Trip Inspection Manual
– Basic Control Skills Test Description
– City Driving Preparation Chapter
Visual Pre-Trip Course: Access a detailed visual course with audio aids that cover your Pre-Trip items, making it easier to understand and retain the information.
Complete ELDT (Entry-Level Driver Training) Course: This course provides all the essential training required by the FMCSA for new CDL drivers.
Commercial Learner’s Permit Tests: If you’re still working on your Commercial Learner’s Permit, you can access existing tests to help you practice and prepare.
Location Map and Coordinates: Quick access to necessary course locations with a map, link, and orientation video guide.
3. Account Update:
The update will occur on Monday morning, June 17. You can log in via the same link on our website startcdl.com.
For security and proper functioning, you will need to update your password. Upon logging in, you will receive an email with a link to change your password. This is the only action required to start using the new account.
