No u turn sign
What it is?
No U-turn signs are placed at intersections to show the driver is not legally permitted to perform a U-turn (a turn in the roadway to proceed in the opposite direction).
No u turn sign Meaning
The no U-turn sign is a regulatory sign. If a driver must make a 180 degree turn in an area designated no U-turn, they will have to wait for an intersection which permits this kind of turn or seek an alternative method such as going around a block. It is against the law to execute a 180 degree turn where there is a no U-turn sign. There are other locations where it’s illegal to perform a U-turn, even when there is no sign. If the driver must turn around in a place where there is a no U-turn sign, they have to circle the block or wait for a place where it’s permissible to do so.
